A night out in Dubai was the day that Lara met her Luke and ever after it was.

Their wedding day was just as magical. Inspired by their roots; Lebanese, Finnish and British, the couple wanted to bring the glam of a Lebanese wedding and marry it with the simplicity and elegance of a European elopement. Easy? Not quite but it turned out to be one of the most beautiful beach front weddings Bali has ever seen.

Coming from an event planning family business, the bride planned her big day, A to the Z! From choosing the flowers in the perfect shades of white to making sure the cake was Instagram worthy. And we think Lara nailed it!

Her favorite moment was a surprise performance by Luke, taking the lead in a 3 minute traditional dabkeh dance. He spent 6 months taking private lessons with all of his friends in Dubai, all the time Lara thinking he was at “football practice”. #GroomGoals!

But now let’s take a moment and talk about Lara in her Hayley Paige “Cali” sheath dress and long blonde locks. The dress, an ivory lace gown with sheer nude lining, scalloped deep v-neck and low open strappy back. Our Alterations Atelier team created a removable train to elevate the dress and added more beading to give it a dramatic entrance. The dress was the perfect choice for Lara, comfortable and lightweight, just the style for a summer outdoors wedding.

“Maria was incredible, her patience is amazing and that helped a lot.13 months before the wedding, we tried on so many styles until I found the one. Nothing was impossible for Maria and she always made me feel like a princess every time I came to the shop.”
